Prepositions “in, on or at” are usually used for different places.

·         “In” is usually used for place which have some boundary (boundary may                 physical or virtual).
·         “On” is  used for surface
·         At” is used for specific place.

Prepositional Verb


A prepositional phrase is a combination of a verb and a preposition. It is just a verb followed by a preposition.

Prepositional PhraseVerb + Preposition

Prepositional Verbs are transitive and they have a direct object in sentence. Some of the frequently used preposition verb are, laugh at, knock at, listen to, look at, look for, look after, wait for, agree to, agree with, talk about, talked to.

REPORTING SPEECH



 REPORTING SPEECH

There are two kind of report,direct and indirect



We use the direct speech to report something that another person has said.

DIRECT: subject/ who produces the speech
Example:
-Carlos said “I am tired”
-Alice said, "I love to dance."
-"I was working late last night," Vicki said.

CONDITIONALS

 

CONDITIONAL ZERO 

This conditional is 100% true   (cause-effect)


It conditional is compound for two sentences divided by a comma.

                 If + present simple + present simple/ or past simple

 Example: If i put water on the fridge, it freezes.

If I work too much, I get tired  

Negative form:

If it doesn't rain, the road doesn't get wet

Past simple: If the girl  went to the park, she bought an ice-cream
